I have an artist friend in Dallas that went to the Bahamas and swam with some pigs and I have many friends who actively enjoy shooting wild pigs and one day on social media these two images were juxtaposed with one another and, of course, I just started drawing a bunch of pigs. As an artist it's my job to look at the world around me, take it in and then try to, in some small way, inform people. A lot of my work has double meaning. I tend to avoid the political or social but I like to play with whimsy or humor. The world is a weird place. It's good to think deeply about stuff and question your perspective from time to time.
